Comp-U-Save is your one stop full service computer repair center.

We fix hardware problems on both laptops and desktops. As well as software problems that may be caused by viruses and spyware.

Comp-U-Save will even install your home network or small business network, including wireless!

$75   This flat rate job includes loading the Windows operating systems along with all the updated drivers and critical updates to insure the highest performance

$105 Same as above, but we also create you a DVD which you can use to restore your operating system in the future. (DVD drive required)

ALL DATA IS LOST WHEN WINDOWS IS RE-INSTALLED!!!! USE OUR BACKUP SERVICE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE ANY DATA.  ALL PROGRAMS MUST ALSO BE RELOADED.

$50 - $125    The fee we charge for a complete cleanup will depend on the severity of the problems.  Heavily infected computers will take significantly longer to clean than computers that are not as badly infected.  Some extremely infected computers will need to have Windows completely reloaded in order to make them operate properly again.  (Most of the computer we see end up needing $75 worth of cleanup)

Starting at $20 (exact charge will depend on the quantity of data being backed up)

Don't lose important documents, pictures, music, or any data important to you.  We can back up you data on CD's or DVD's. 

If your computer does not boot into Windows we can usually back up your data by accessing your hard drive from another computer.




Starting at $50     If files have been accidentally deleted or over written, it may be possible to recover the data.  Using advanced software we can scan you hard drive and attempt to get back your lost data. 

If your hard drive has mechanical failure we may need to send it off to a recovery center where the drive can be disassembled in anti static environment.  Please call us for estimates. 

FREE HARD DRIVE DIAGNOSTIC:

Using hard drive testing software we can determine if your hard drive is performing properly.  If it is not it is important to replace the drive in order to make sure you don't lose any data.

MOTHERBOARD REPLACEMENT:

We can replace your faulty motherboard and get your system up and running again. ($50-$75 installation free + $70 for most replacement motherboards)

POWER JACK REPLACEMENT:

$169    If your power jack is loose and no longer accepts power from the charger, it most likely needs to be replaced.  We do not perform this in house but will send it off to trained technicians who can properly repair the jack.  We can usually have the laptop back to you in 5 business days or less. 

LCD SCREEN PROBLEMS:

$50 + Parts if necessary   

If your LCD screen is cracked a new screen will be required to fix the problem.  (typically $75-$200 for the screen + $50 installation fee) 

If the backlight is not turning on it typically is a result of a fault LCD inverter.  When this happens you can usually make out the display but it very faint. 
(typically $30-$60 for the inverter + $50 installation fee)

INDIVIDUAL KEY AND ENTIRE KEYBOARD REPLACEMENT:

We have a large number of keys in stock and may be able to find a match for you missing keys. ($5 per key)

Malfunctioning or sticky keyboards can be replaced. 
(typically $30 - $80 for the keyboard + $20 installation fee)
